The Woman in my Kitchen

Shirley, Sandy, and Harley

Imagine my pleasure and surprise when I walked in my back door last night and unexpectedly found a woman in my kitchen cooking dinner.

Making dinner is my least favorite task.  Don’t get me wrong I LOVE to eat.
I don’t think this has ever happened to me before.  Not only didn’t I have to fix dinner, I didn’t have to decide what to have, I didn’t have to go to the store and pick up the items, unload the car,  put the items away, I didn’t have to go anywhere or do anything, I didn't even have to set the table. The entire process was being taken care of without any effort on my part.

I have a saying, “Food always tastes better when someone else prepares it.”  I was being spoiled and surprised at the same time and I didn't have to go anywhere, I had such gratitude in my heart.

We had a lovey dinner!!!

Oh, the woman in my kitchen was my sister-in-law, Shirley. I am blessed having not one but two amazing sisters-in-law.

Thank you Shirley, what an amazing surprise, anytime you would like to use our kitchen help yourself.

With Love and Gratitude.

God Bless,
