Offering Prayers of Safety and Patience.

Mercier's Orchards
I am feeling very reflective this week.  Harley and I were on vacation last week and we didn’t do anything all week we didn’t want to do, the weather was perfect, the Morganton Chamber of Commerce was taking all the credit, we saw friends, rode our motorcycles, marveled at the changing of the leaves, got apples from Merciers orchards, visited a couple of state parks, had campfires every night and enjoyed the hot tub.  Not bad for only one week.

Now that we are home and Super Storm Sandy has enforced her energy on my old stomping grounds the feeling of melancholy coupled with the blessings I have in my life are weighing on me. I am watching the images on the news with a mixture of horror and disbelief.

It reminds me of when 9/11 happened and the impact was so tragic I couldn’t look away.

I have heard from all the people in my life that were in harm’s way and they all are safe.

If you have been affected by Hurricane Sandy you are in my prayers, I am praying for your safety and lots of patience.

God Bless,
