Thoughts from Stephen, Words on Words

Good morning,

A study of the history of opinion is a necessary preliminary to the emancipation of the mind……
The difficulty lies not so much in developing new ideas as in escaping from old ones.
--John Maynard Keynes

It has been said that we must perform a new behavior twenty times to overcome an old one.

One great use of words is to hide our thoughts.

Words ought to be a little wild, for they are the assaults of thoughts on the unthinking.
--John Maynard Keynes

Overcoming old ideas is essential to the progress of the mind. When we are content to live old thoughts without question we may be in danger of no thought at all.

Today our words may be a bit wild knowing that we will uncover new thinking.

Enjoy heartfelt thoughts with words that portray their value and feel truly genuine in your day.

Kindest regards,

My friend Stephen has the gift of inspiration, I get emails almost every morning and with his permission I am honored to share some of his thoughtful words with you. The purpose of his writing is “to share my strength and hope for my friends and their friends.”  it is my hope you will enjoy these,   Teri
