Thoughts from Stephen, Words on Options

Good morning,

Do the duty which lies nearest to you, the second duty will then become clearer.
--Thomas Carlyle

In every duty lies the option to act unwisely. Wisdom appears to include the ability to first know ourselves and our motives and then to perform the duty before us.

“In seeking wisdom thou art wise; in imagining that thou hast attained it - thou art a fool.”
--Lord Chesterfield

Consider your faith first and your responsibility to duty will likely become more apparent.

“The young man knows the rules, but the old man knows the exceptions.”
--Oliver Wendell Holmes

Today will present many options. Take each in its time dismissing those that only offer poor alternatives.

Great days are within your grasp beginning with today; be exceptional today!

Kindest regards,
Stephen

My friend Stephen has the gift of inspiration, I get emails almost every morning and with his permission I am honored to share some of his thoughtful words with you. The purpose of his writing is “to share my strength and hope for my friends and their friends.”  it is my hope you will enjoy these,   Teri   teri@ourhealthcoop.com
