Is it time to change your style? Before and After.

Teri 2007 Before
Clothes and fashion were never a major concern for me, but Donnaree noticed I was looking well, frumpy.

One day she said to me, "I can’t take it anymore.  You may fire me but I have to say something from my heart.  You are too young to dress so old.”

“Whatever do you mean?” I asked.

Little did I know I had succumbed to the dreaded "Mom Jeans".
We decided to go shopping together, Donnaree took on the responsibility of being my personal shopper for the day.

We headed to the mall, found Macy’s, and headed for the pant section.  I found a pair of pink capri’s that I thought I liked, they came to my hips, when I was growing up this type of pant was called pedal pushers.  I said, “NO!” and Donnaree said, “Yes.”  I tried them on and honestly at first I felt silly then 20 years younger.  I got the pink ones, a green pair and denim pair to get started.  Then she said lets go to Forever 21, ahem, what was I doing?  A couple of tops later and many laughs we were on our way home to give Harley a fashion show.
Teri 2012 After

It wasn’t long before the Mom jeans were someone else’s problem as they arrived at the thrift store.

It has been 5 years since then and I am allowed to go shopping by myself again.

I went shopping over the weekend and the choices I made passed, my shopping coach claimed them to be sassy.  Harley thought they were sassy too.

Are you looking like your Granny, is it time to go shopping with someone that has a younger perspective.  Life is too short to look like a Granny before its time.

God Bless,
Teri
