My mind is filled with thoughts from Eastern sacred scriptures like the Upanishads and the Bhagavad Gita, I have two books filled with asana postures and how they are to apply to different body types, I have other books on anatomy, yin and yang, nadis, ethics of teaching, and still others on how to plan and present a well-crafted theme centered yoga practice.
Our group of 15 yogi’s and yogini's have become a well-oiled little machine of study, asana practice, and interpretation. It will be a big change not to be together with these amazing people for 10 hours every Saturday and 4 more on Wednesday evenings.
It is funny I have challenges remembering names and the first night I wrote down everyone’s name and a snippet about them as we went around the room and said who we were and why we were in the training. Three months later these short notes have nothing to do with the lively, interesting, dedicated people we have turned out to be.
My eyes and heart are open in a new way. I can only allude to the special gift we have been given and ask for your best wishes as I find my voice and celebrate the joys of yoga.
