Rotten Head Cold.

I have a rotten head cold.  It started Sunday evening; I could feel the telltale scratch in the back of my throat around 2 AM.  Once it gets that far the cold is on the way and nothing will deter it.

It is imperative I am well by next Tuesday for two very important reasons. The first reason we are watching friends Golden Retriever for the long holiday weekend and the other I graduate as a certified yoga instructor.

I asked Stephen if I could bring a friend to work next Wednesday and he asked, “What’s the dog’s name?”  Does this man know me or what?  I will send pictures next week she is one year old.

Back to my cold, the last two customers I spoke with said I sounded so bad they were going to say a prayer for me, now that is serious medicine and I am always thankful for extra prayers.

I volunteered to go home if any of my fellow employees were concerned with catching my cold.  No one was worried and the warehouse is off limits until I am back to my old self.

The best way to stay well is to avoid sick people and wash your hands.  Looks like something slipped through the cracks with my stay well plan.

It is estimated as Americans we suffer from 1 million colds each year.  If you are a parent of young children you are especially likely to get a cold as children get between 6-12 colds each year while adolescents and adults average 1-2 colds each year.  I am in the 1 cold per year category.  Last year it was during the Christmas holiday and I was regulated to the couch on Christmas day with a cold while Harley enjoyed our neighbors Jason and Julie’s hospitality.

For now I have my box of tissues, Immune Health, Oil of Oregano, Garlic & Cayenne, and Heart Plus to scare the germs away actually, if I could take my head off I feel pretty good.

Thank you for any well wishes you send my way.

God Bless,
Teri
