Thoughts from Stephen, Words on Spending Moments Wisely

Good morning,

We can't plan life. All we can do is be available for it.
--Lauryn Hill

Every morning we wake up to a new day. Our experience teaches us that it will unfold as its own.

Never be bullied into silence. Never allow yourself to be made a victim. Accept no one's definition of your life; define yourself.
--Harvey Fierstein

The proposition isn’t ”how are we going to accept life’s challenges?” it is ”how are we going to respond to them?”

“The price of anything is the amount of life you exchange for it.”
--Henry David Thoreau

Today we can choose to spend our life moments with thoughtfulness.

Have an exceptional day spending your life moments wisely.

Kindest regards,

My friend Stephen has the gift of inspiration, I get emails almost every morning and with his permission I am honored to share some of his thoughtful words with you. The purpose of his writing is “to share my strength and hope for my friends and their friends.”  I hope you enjoy these,   Teri

  1. The words from Thoreau ring with me. Frequently, I make final decisions on a purchase by calculating how many hours I had to work to earn the value of the item I am considering. Many times when I put it into that emotional format I leave the item at the store.

Unless the object of my intent has rhinestones or glitter on it and at that point all reason is lost.

The older I get the more finely tuned my leisure time has become. I am grateful the time I have frittered away has given me an appreciation for the way I live my life today.
