Thank you for your Service.

I have never been directly exposed to war.  The closest I have come are conversations with veterans.
My step father had pictures that still haunt me of the liberation of Auschwitz.  That is war.  My friends Mary and Arthur are gone now, they were part of the Battle of the Bulge, terrible stories, some of my contemporaries were part of Vietnam, children of friends are currently serving in the military, and across the street are young police officers, all of them proudly and bravely making their mark on freedom.
As we remember those that have served and still serve on this Memorial Day I am reminded of the saying, “All gave some, and some gave all.”
My heart felt thank you and prayers to those who have answered the call to serve.

Namaste,
Teri
