It seems the more I read, listen to, and learn the more the data reinforces we must keep our life natural, peaceful, and kind to stay emotionally and physically well.
The trappings of life exert pressure in several ways, one financially we must keep what we have or keep up with the expectations of friends, family, and neighbors. Most people are not satisfied with enough. The need for excess overrides the need to enjoy life in the moment by appreciating what we have.
Stress causes our body to go into an unnatural state of anxiety. We were not built to be under emotional stress and pressure all the time. Our fellow countrymen are losing their homes to the ravages of tornados and flood the pressure they are under is enormous. It is easy to see under these circumstances how disease would creep in while you were worrying about something else.
I know from personal experience once disease creeps in, our life focus changes and wellness and family are the pivot for each decision.
Why don’t we pay attention until a problem occurs? Sometimes we know we aren’t eating correctly, we aren’t exercising, we aren’t stimulating our brain sometimes life just gets hard and we don’t care.
We found this with the water challenge from last month. Donnaree had suffered with headaches for years, now she is drinking plenty of water and not suffering from headaches, Harley’s knees are not bothering him like they were, and I just feel better drinking more water. This is so simple and yet we put it off.
