|Teri and Harley enjoying nature.|
As a girl growing up we always lived in town, one summer I persuaded my parents to allow me to go to horse camp. We learned to care for, saddle, and ride horses. My favorite part was, well actually the entire experience from greeting the horse in the morning, saddling up and preparing for the ride, then cool down, currying and cuddling my friend was one of those forever experiences.
I know many of our readers are cat people, personally I am a dog person, as a child I watched the Cisco Kid, John Wayne, and Clint Eastwood as Rowdy Yates they all had a special relationship with horses I could only begin to imagine.
Have you ever thought about playing with horses? Seems that would take fun to a new and exciting level. Our friend Lila has the joy of working with horses each day but more than that she helps people understand the relationship between themselves and their horses in a profound and loving circle of respect.
The lessons you learn from Holy Horse Encounters are life lessons that transcends your time with the horses, they will facilitate "personal growth, clarity, and empowerment."
To find out more about befriending horses on an entirely new level I invite you to explore Lila's website, the perspective is new. I have been told Lila can take a horse that has the most disagreeable behavior and befriend it in a matter of an hours.
The next time I am in Utah I will be sure to take a class with Lila. http://www.holyhorseencounters.com
