|Old Time Coffee Grinder|
Ah the joy of coffee drinking, I love drinking coffee, with friends, over the Sunday paper, and with chocolate cake.
Having said that over the weekend we saw this coffee grinder. I thought briefly, would I still enjoy coffee as much if I had to go through all the trouble this grinder would provide, the answer was a resounding yes.
Now why would we purchase such an ancient item when I have a perfectly good electric grinder at home? Good question. I love the construction, the beautifully dove tailed corners, I have an elevated appreciation for wood since I married my sweet carpenter, and it is still functional. The other reason is we aspire to move farther north when we semi-retire and this will look great in our cabin.
We already have a cabin that we just love called Harley House in Morganton GA. Harley would like to build a cabin that is all on one floor. One we can navigate easily as our bones get older, a couple of rocking chairs on the front porch, a place we can watch the seasons change, enjoy life, and drink coffee in the mornings.
