What do you know about the Enneagram? Interested?

Cindy, our President, is a gifted life coach.  I have had the opportunity to share in some of her wisdom.  My eyes are opening to behaviors I have that I was totally unaware; some of them are disturbing others nice and comfortable.

I had no idea what a coach could offer, I am certain we have only scratched the surface of things I can learn about myself, of behaviors I am comfortable with, that by changing or modifying I can walk an easier path in my life.

This may sound like a silly mess of nonsense to you and a month or two ago I may have said the same thing.

I think the part I have to bring to the table is being open to listen to new ideas.  The part Cindy brings is showing me alternatives to a gentler way of living parts of my life. Cindy works with the teachings of the Enneagram.

As simply put as I can there are 9 types of personalities, each type has qualities and distractions.  The Wisdom of the Enneagram gives tools on how to utilize the distractions and enhance the qualities.  I would love to have her offer these insights to our Co-op members.

I am learning the personality types of my friends and family which is making my relationships better and more meaningful and isn’t that the goal in our lives to be able to appreciate the qualities of the ones we love?

It is all very interesting and positive.  I have had several ah ha moments in the last few weeks.  I am happy to be learning and honored Cindy has time to work with me.
Would you be interested to know more about the 9 personality types of the Enneagram?

  1. I would be very interested to learn the 9 personality types. I am having a a very trying time with my soon to be 18 year old daughter. I know part of this is just her age. But I am beginning to think it is her personality as well. She is adopted, so there are alot of unknowns.
