Pomegranates

Sunday morning treat
Tis the season for lovers of pomegranates to enjoy the harvest.

Have you ever tried a pomegranate, they are very messy, tasty, and full of fiber.  They come available once each year around Thanksgiving time.
Harley doesn’t think much of pomegranates; he thinks they are too much trouble, silly husband.

They might be a little messy
People use these tasty kernels in soups, salads, sauces, covered in chocolate, and juiced.  I love them just as they are the tiny ruby kernels bursting with flavor, awesome!

The hidden value is pomegranates are loaded with nutritional benefits like Vitamin C, B5, and polyphenols.  Don’t omit eating the seeds they are loaded with fiber, beneficial oils, and micronutrients.  This is truly a taste treat you don't want to miss!

  1. Hi Teri! If you clean them underwater (in a big bowl full of water), it makes separating the seeds from the rind and cleanup much easier!

  5. My success peeling pomegranates has been fragile. I smoosh the seeds they fly all over the place, stain my clothes and anything else they touch. A video has been created offering an easy way to eat this delicious fruit. I hope you find it as interesting as I did.
